Area GA/ Acteen Camp is where girls can go to have fun and learn about missions!

Ready for a FUN summer ADVENTURE?


The Area GA/Acteen Camp is the perfect getaway for girls who've finished 1st-12th grade.

Get closer to God as you explore His plan for you, learning and growing through hands-on missions opportunities, and lessons.

Girls will unpack Mathew 13:45-46 with their leaders who attend camp with them, discovering what it means to be chosen by God. Get pumped for five days and four nights of fun, faith, and friendships at Alto Frio Baptist Encampment in Leakey, Texas!

  • Church Information

    Each church must register online.

    Each church must also pay all deposits via mailed-in church check by May 17, 2024.

    Payments should be gathered from campers and sponsors through the church and then paid all at one time via church check.

    The remaining balances are due via church check upon arrival at camp during check-in.

    Checks must be payable to Alto Frio Baptist Encampment.

    Each church is responsible for providing a letter from their pastor guaranteeing that background checks have been performed on the sponsors as well as verifying that all sponsors have completed the required Child Protection Training Course.

  • Camper Information

    Each camper must fill out the individual Alto Frio Medical Release Form to be permitted to attend camp EVEN IF their parent or legal guardian is attending camp with them as a Sponsor. Each camper should also read over the Alto Frio Camp Rules with their parents and Sponsors as well as the GA Acteen Camp Rules.

  • Sponsor Information

    Each Sponsor is responsible for filling out the Alto Frio Medical Release Form, completing their online Child Protection Training Course, and providing the completion certificate to their church, as well as providing their church with the necessary information to perform a background check.

    Once all of these items have been completed and provided, the letter from your pastor confirming the background check and Child Protection Training Course must be brought with you and provided to the Camp Director upon arrival at check-in along with the church check for payment.
